time to celebrate...

the return of our long broken camera - yay!!!

it's pretty pathetic how long it takes me to get certain things done and this was one of those things. we've been without a camera for about 6 months now and i finally realized that bel was changing right before my eyes and i wasn't documenting her life - eee gads - that is slacking in my motherly responsibilities. and so to celebrate the return of this lovely and vital piece of technology...

photo of the day

i'm only guaranteeing one week but I'm going to shoot for a month (minus the days i'll be away from my computer for thanksgiving - yep, still can't handle commitment, except the one i made to my husband)

today's photo - lately bel prefers to veg from a higher viewpoint.

she also likes to climb up and tumble down repeatedly, honestly the seat cushions of the couch are her last choice in places to sit, sitting above, on the arms or on the floor just in front of the couch. I know this will result in premature tearing of the back pillows but it's so darn cute that she can get away with it.

That was the key attribute in picking our last couch, NO ATTACHED CUSHIONS. It wouldn't survive Ben and Henry for a week. Now let's see if YOU survive a week, of updating the blog...WAHOOO!!!

I would probably let her get away with it too........ oh wait, you guys were all that cute and I don't think I did let you get away with it...... oh wait I didn't have a couch.

Please commit to the picture a day for a month.... please pretty please

Dear Christine,

That little girl is so cute. I wish I could meet her in real life. I'm sorry I haven't emailed any goods yet, but lily has been under the weather. I'll work on it this week. We should talk on the phone again soon, you always brighten the soul.

Wishing you were closer,
Talane

"Ee gads!" Did you actually type that? Oh man, that always reminds me of Music Man. That and "great honk". But nobody really says that one.

Also, here is a cheer made up especially for you to aid you in your commitment of picture of the day...here goes, ahem.

You can do it yessireee, you can do it go Christine!

Okay, maybe I will contact your local cheer squad and have them do a cheer for you. That might be a bit more motivational.
