...when bel asks for tomatoes as a snack. It is such a thrill for me to go to the farmer's market - load up on fresh produce and eat it with my two year old! it's one of those actibities that's good for my soul. now we can eat cookie dough and watch a movie tonight.
That's what I should have sent with Cindy...... a car load of fresh zuchini and yellow squash and a big bundle of basil, sage and oregano ( and maybe even a little parsley ... rosemary and thyme) My herbs are the best they have ever been, and my flowers are the worst they have ever been. I wonder why..... I have always loved your farmer's market still life photos. It just shows that just like the gospel is the same everywhere, so is wonderful fall produce (even though you may be thinking that the Ohio variety may be a little lacking?)
yes yes YES! Especially the part about the cookie dough, that's actually the only part I can relate to as none of my children eat vegetables, at least not by request. BUT did want to tell you that if you still have any of that fresh ground ww flour, I make my ranger cookies 100% whole wheat now, and add wheat germ, and eat 1/2 the dough before they make it to cookies, but it is THE BEST dough ever and since it's practically health food now it's a great farmer's market binge chaser. just sayin'.
Oh, I love Jack's new noise! You weren't kidding when you said he's a charmer. :)
I was just looking at Tamra's photo blog with your cute family in it. Hope you're loving your new place.
We miss you. I told Brendon the other day, "Whoever gets to meet the Millers is soooo lucky!" I just think the world of you guys. I always left your home feeling super uplifted.
