8 Things that happened yesterday:

1- made muffins for breakfast
2- made tomato soup – this took me all day so I probably won’t make it to 8
3- shopped at Walmart – yikes!
4- listened to This American Life (Going Big and 20 Acts in 60 Minutes episodes – both so good)
5- ate tomato soup
6- Ryan did all the dishes from my cooking day (bless his heart!)
7- bought a Halloween costume for Bel
8- went to bed exhausted

8 Favorite Places to Eat:

1- The Wooden Nickel (our new local favorite for ribs)
2- Pita Pit
3- The Cheesecake Factory
4- Papa John’s at home
5- Mom’s house
6- Breakfast at Angie’s or Village Inn (or Burger King breakfast in bed)
7- Topper’s Pizza in Cali
8- Picnics at school with Ryan

8 Things I'm Looking Forward To:

1- Going to the new James Bond with Ryan
2- the day I feel like my house is unpacked
3- my first midwest ice storm
4- skiing during Christmas break
5- Cindy & Melanie’s visit next week
6- sewing with Abby one of these days
7- the zit inside my nose to heal (sorry that was graphic)
8- a present I know I’m getting from Ryan (nope – we’re not so good with surprises)

8 things on my wish list

1- Dan in Real Life Soundtrack
2- a bed frame
3- fresh dirt, boxwood bushes and a few flowers for our front flower beds
4- Bel being able to sleep through the night
5- a massage
6- access to horses whenever my heart so desires to ride one (which is often)
7- somewhere to go sculling every morning
8- a trip to Esme’s Island (for all of you who haven’t read Breaking Dawn (good for you) it’s a private island with the perfect climate and all the tourist attractions without the tourists and let’s not forget the beautiful, air conditioned, fully stocked house)
