my honey really knows how to make me happy... since we are leaving town so early in December I've been coming to grips with not buying a tree this year, just as I was mourning the fact of succumbing to no tree for the first time in five years, Ryan came home with "flowers" for our anniversary... my flowers were a tree!! yahoo!!!
Speaking of anniversaries, Ryan and I celebrated 5 successful years of marriage this week - still crazy after all these years!

oh I'm soooooo jealous. that's all I really wanted for Christmas, but to no avail. I'll have to enjoy a tree when we go home next week. It's a sad life.
felicidades. I can't believe you even considered not having a tree, even though you are leaving this week...Andy has given up trying to convince me it's not worth it. The tree is not just for Christmas, after all! I'm glad Ryan gets it. It makes me think that deep down he can't bear the thought of being home alone with NO TREE before Christmas either. Bless him.
