com·rade
[kom-rad, -rid] noun1.
a person who shares in one's activities, occupation, etc.;companion, associate, or friend.
It's been sometime now that the word comrade has popped into my head upon seeing the shenanigans my two children have been up to. In the past year these two have truly become companions, associates and friends; they share in each other's mischeifs and misfortunes, their successes and failures, they take care of each other, teach each other, fight with each other and love each other. They definitely share in one another's activities - such as...
Watching these two interact and start to love each other has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. It gives me hope for the future - hope that they will love and admire each other as I love and admire my own brothers and sister - hope that as life goes on they will be able to fill needs for each other that Ryan and I can't - hope that one more person will love them unconditionally and hope that they will love their new baby sister as much as they love each other.
Yep (in case you haven't heard), we're having a baby! We're getting excited to meet her sometime around July 1.
What can I say? these two have made me love and appreciate children, have been two of my greatest teachers, have showed me that parenting is the best way to become the person you need to be and that having kids is a great excuse to act like one.

And maybe adding a third won't be as hard as I thought, since these little comrades will have each other.

Oh my.... what a great collection of moments, and I totally agree - they are great comrades. None of those photos are unusual. Jack just might be sad though when Bel goes to school. Thanks for composing that sweet read.
I have been thinking about you...wondering if you were planning on another one soon. I was seriously thinking as I randomly opened your blog for the first time in over two months if you were going to have an announcement on your blog. :)
Congratulations! Can't wait to see you guys in a couple months!!!!

Now Jack will get to be the big brother!I'm sure he will take special pride in being the protector and teacher to the new little miss miller, just as Bel protects and teaches him. Of course,I'm sure you will supply plenty of pictures. At least in July there's no snow to have to deal with. Thanks for the pictures! Love you all!
Aww, I'm glad they are such good buddies. And how fun to add another one to the mix! 3 is fun- you'll love it!
Yay! Congrats Millers. I haven't been blog hopping in months and then I stumble upon this---it made my day. I'm so excited for you guys. Your a wonderful mother. One of my most favorite things is sibling love, it's the best. They are going to adore your sweet little one.
Oh, I LOVE this!!! It makes me so excited for my two little munchkins who are, at the moment, tolerating each other at best :)
And congratulations! What wonderful news.
I am also sad that I never answered your email and we never met up at Twizzle Berry. But now next time I see you there will just be more little Millers to meet!
So glad to hear that it's another beautiful girl-child. Your kids are adorable and seeing how they get along gives me hope that mine will too, once we get past the "trying to lay on the smaller child" phase.
